Knife news: Blade Show

Knife news: Blade Show

Blade Show is, of course, an American knife show, but it has quite a large number of European participants. And these are doing very well.
At the latest edition, held from June 2-4, some of the most prestigious prizes were won by European designers, knife makers and knife making companies. Just have a look:
The Overall Knife of the Year award was won by Italian company Fox Knives for their SURU, a knife designed by Danish knife maker Jesper Voxnaes. The SURU has a one piece carbon fibre frame with integrated TPI stainless steel lock bar insert.
Jesper Voxnaes and his countryman Jens Ansø designed the Viper Sakura kitchen knife series, whose Chef’s knife won the Kitchen Knife of the Year Award.
Italian Company Lionsteel was extremely proud with their overall Manufacturing Quality Award.
Custom knife maker Anders Högström from Sweden got two prizes: Best Fixed and Best in Show
French custom maker Jean-Louis Régel also won two prizes: Best Art Knife and Best Bowie.

Congratulations to you all.
